Jimmy Update

So, as faithful readers are aware, we adopted two cats from the animal shelter back in November.  One of them, a male, is now totally in control of the house.  He has several nicknames the two most prominent are "Trouble" and "Piglet".  Trouble likes to do just that, cause trouble, he will play with ANYTHING and can be found most of the time zipping back and forth across the house chasing his latest find - lego pieces, a straw, a straw wrapper, nerf bullets....  but, he is terrified when the dog is chasing a ball across the kitchen.  I don't know why but he is, every time.

His other nickname is Piglet because the cat will eat anything that is not nailed down.  I've never seen a cat like this.  He will, literally, swipe the food off of your plate or fork.  You have to be very vigilant with food if you want any chance of eating it.  Today, he took a swipe at my soup spoon and got a handful of potato soup.  Why would a cat want potato soup?  It's baffling.

Anyway, the reason for my post is to show you Jimmy's latest nap spot.  You see, when M was born my parents gave me a plant in the hospital.  I managed to keep it alive until Jimmy came along.  He decided the plant was a great toy and systematically killed it leaving just the empty pot.  So, where's the new sleep spot?

In the pot, of course....

It's the perfect size now but if he keeps eating the way he is, it won't be for long...
