At the Sloan School they make a big deal of every promotion. So, at the end of the school year they hold a "Promotion Ceremony". Each child receives a character award and a diploma for his grade. Michael received the Leadership Award because the teacher said he's always out there leading his friends to the next game, usually sports, and gets everyone involved. I'm not sure this is exactly what we were looking for when we sent him to this school but it's definitely true. Here is a picture of Michael with his Diploma. Believe it or not, in August, he'll be a certified 2nd Grader. I realize it won't be long before I'll have to post pictures of his graduation from High School.
