Spring Break in San Diego

We spent a few days of Spring Break in San Diego this year. We decided it was time for Michael to see Legoland again (since the last time we went he was 1) as well as a few things we missed the first trip. So, we spent a day at Legoland, a day at the Wild Animal Park, and a day running around where we visited the Midway (aircraft carrier), the Air and Space Museum, and Coronado Island. Here is a slideshow of pictures from the wild animal park. It was an amazing place, much larger than we expected. Really worth the trip.

Here is a slideshow of pictures from the rest of the trip. We were surprised to come upon a Coast Guard practice, they were dropping people in the water off the boat while the people in the helicopter were fishing them out. It was pretty amazing. Also, Michael did get COMPLETELY wet in the ocean and that water was, as you would expect, FRIGID!!!! But, he was having fun and we let him. Of course, he ended up stripping down to his underwear on the street while we fished out a souvenir shirt for him to wear.

We had a great time, a much needed break. Hope everyone had a great Spring Break!!
