California Vacation

Michael and I made another vacation out of Edd's business trip. Edd, as many of you know, is spending an extended amount of time in Burbank covering for the engineers he sent to Beijing for the Olympics. So, Michael and I flew out last week for a vacation. On Wednesday we went to the Space Museum and Natural History Museum. On Thursday we drove up to Oxnard to see the Cowboy's Training Camp and also snuck in a visit to a children's museum. On Friday we spent time at KidSpace in Pasadena. On Saturday we went to Six Flags Magic Mountain. On Sunday we visited the LaBrea Tar Pits. Finally, on Monday we stopped by the LA Zoo for a quick visit before jetting back to DFW. It ws a busy trip but lots of fun-filled days, especially for the short people. The blonde girl you see in some of the early photos is not some random stranger we picked up at the museum but actually our friend Teagan. Teagan also joined us at Six Flags and hosted us for a BBQ Sunday evening at their community pool. Good times and good friends, what can go wrong?

Here's a slide show of most of the days:

Here's a special slide show for the Cowboys - How 'Bout them Cowboys!!! We did see all of the "key" players - Romo, T.O., Whitten, Barber, Gurode (gotta give a shout out to our neighbor) - you may see other faces/numbers that you recognize. It was a great experience and Michael had a blast as you can see.
