Cowboys Baseball

Michaels baseball home for the fall has been with the Coppell Cowboys Black, a select team out of Coppell.  It has been an interesting season so far since it is our first time at 9U and kid pitch and all that.  With the changes of basically real baseball rules  (full loose bases, balls, strikes, kids pitching, etc) it has been a lot to take on at once.

M has been doing well, he has played a lot of different positions, including pitcher where he does well at.

Michael's Birthday Party

Michael continued the tradition started last year of the low-key birthday party.  He invited his three closest friends over for a sleep over.  And, a nerf war with Daddy...

9 YEARS OLD!!!!

Well its hard to believe that our small baby (yeah right) is 9 years old now.  It just doesnt seem that long ago that he was born.

He had a simple party with some of his buddies over and ended up sleeping in a tent in the living room.

Visit to Cowboy's Stadium

Brandon's football team had a scrimmage at Cowboy's stadium.  Well, we couldn't resist the opportunity to go and tagged along.  Michael really loved it especially being down on the field and going through the locker rooms.

Riders game with Z

As one of our last Rider's games of the season we invited Z-man along to share in the fun.  Both boys had a great time, but especially Z.

The Bell and other Heirlooms Arrive

Edd's parents decided to relocate to Southlake and downsize. As a result, we have inherited a fair amount of furniture. Not the least of which is the family bell. Not a hand bell, a church bell as in from a steeple. So, the bell arrived with much fanfare and two very large and strong movers. Now it's our job to build it a more permanent home. We'll be sending up flares when it's time to relocate it to it's new home from it's current position - be on the look out!

Highland Village Balloon Festival

Let me say, it is too hot in Texas to stand outside and watch hot air balloons fill up with air. Just sayin. But, there we were, sweating and watching and it was pretty to see, but would have been even better in November....
