1st Game as a Stix!

We had our 1st game as a Stix on Friday in the form of a scrimmage against.... The Storm (our old team). It was great to see our Storm friends and the boys all played well. Here are a couple of pics from the event.

Regular season starts April 7 - you're all invited to come out and watch! Let me know if you need a schedule.

TCA Spring Fever Week

TCA's Spring Fever Week was the week after Spring Break. Every day was a different theme. Michael won for his class for Camo Day and Clown Day. Here are pics of him in the clown outfit and in Friday's Spirit Day garb.

Diorama

Michael had to do a diorama for school. We completed it during Spring Break to take it off of the "to do" list. The rule was it had to be of a historical event. He wanted to do Coronado Island because he loved the big aircraft carriers. We compromised and did "Pearl Harbor" before the attack. There's even a WWII era aircraft carrier in it. Great Job Michael!

For My Mother!

This picture was taken of the fridge before the big birthday party. It's to prove to my mother that sometimes we do have food in the house. However, as Kathy pointed out, we actually knew what was in there and when it was bought!! Love you mom!

Pool is Open!

With all the sunny weather we've had recently we decided it was time to open the pool and hopefully avoid a green pool. So, we removed the cover and started the cleaning process on Thursday, March 18. Michael was so excited he couldn't wait to get in. Although we warned him it was cold he was determined and jumped in. Edd got some pics of the boy in the pool as well as confirmation of the pool temp - 66 degrees - brrrrr!!!

Of course, two days later we got 2 inches of snow!

California Weekend

Edd had to work the weekend at the Burbank office so Michael and I decided to join him. While Edd was hard at work Michael and I were hard at play. We spent Saturday in Long Beach at the Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific. We spent Sunday in Santa Monica and then at the LA Zoo. It was a quick but fun weekend! We were glad we didn't have to spend that time away from Edd, we miss him terribly when he's not here.
