Driving down memory lane and we found.... our old house is up for sale. There was an open house scheduled and we tried to go in and take a look around but apparently the sign was wrong as no one was there.
What is funny is how much of the house is still EXACTLY the same 5 years later....
and how much that tree has grown in the front yard, yes we put that tree there.

Chef Michael
Michael had been bugging me to make his favorite dinner, Enchilada Casserole. So, finally I got all the stuff together and we made it together. Here's a pic of Michael in his "Monday Night Football" Apron helping make his favorite dinner. Maybe when he leaves this house he'll know a thing or two about how to survive on his own. Maybe...

Update on the arm
Went to the real doctor today and yes, we have a cast. Have to wear it for four weeks and then they will see how it looks
They told M he had to be still, no playing, no running, no nothin. CAN YOU IMAGINE???
He cant even stay still when he is asleep!

2nd trip to the ER (UGGH)
Just when you thought everything was falling into place..... we fell.
Yep, our boy is on the DL. At baseball practice Wednesday night he zigged and someone else zagged and he ended up head over tea kettle onto his glove hand and broke his wrist. It was strange as the cry he let out told us he was hurt but he got up and could wiggle his arm and wrist and we thought he was ok, but then he could not put his glove back on, it hurt too much. We felt up and down his arm and when we got to his wrist and squeezed he let out a big yelp.
So off to the ER we go.
And we walked away with a splint on it and proof that we had in fact broken a bone in our wrist
We go to the real doctor next week and will find out whether we get a cast or not

Tara Sawyer Tournament
The cowboys played in the Tara Sawyer Tourney in Flower Mound over the weekend and we ran the gamut of emotions. Saturday we played two games and lost both of them and ended up last on the ladder, 15th. Then we came out Sunday morning and played a really long running game and beat the #2 team. Lost the next game, but we gave them a run for their money. The team played better than we have ever seen them play and we were all very impressed
Michael also won an award at the event called the Barnabas award
