Birmingham!

Michael and I just spent a couple of days in Birmingham with our friends. We drove up to Huntsville to take the kids to the US Space and Rocket center. Not nearly as big as Space Center Houston but it was very cool and the kids had a great time. We had a very nice visit and it was good to see them. Here are a couple of pics, if you'd like to see more, check out my Facebook photos.

Final Rascals Tournament

The Rascals played in one last tournament for the summer. This one was a World Series and was held in DeSoto. The games schedule started at 8 am and lasted until 10 pm. We started our first game at 10:00 pm the first night (ugghh). Michael was the catcher.

Annual Family Trip to Inks Lake

Those of you who know us well know that every year my parents and the whole extended family converge on Inks Lake. This year Michael went with Nana and PawPaw early and Edd and I came for the weekend. Michael survived and so did Nana and PawPaw... Among the firsts: first trip alone with Nana & PawPaw, first time in a canoe, first time to catch a fish, first time to jump off the rocks at Devil's Water Hole... overall a big week. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Texas League All-Star Game

On July 1st Michael and I went with Riler and his dad to the Texas League All-Star Game. There was even a home-run derby. Very exciting stuff and an end-of-the night fireworks display. We all had a great time.

Roller Skating

To help Michel ease away from The Sloan School bunch I promised him we would, on occasion, meet up with the group on one of their daily field trips. Well, as I'm sure you guessed, that was very hard to do with all of Michael's camps and other activities. So, we finally made it and went roller skating at the end of June. here are a couple of pics of Michael skating.
